Is it better now? Well, basically, on July 26, at 5:00 SLT (shit, that's still two full days from now, gosh!), Alirium Gardens and Fall into Decay will reopen their main store with tons of new stuff. I'm very anxious... Yes, I may be the only lunatic that gets excited when new trees and shrubs are released, but what the hell. But if anyone else is like me, or need some new stuff for their gardens, mark your calendars and don't forget to stop in aG. Here is the slurl: alirium gardens.

Creepy me

This post is more about the photo above than it is for the fashion notes. I did intend it for fashion initially, when I started to pick up things to go together about a week or so ago. Then I got bored and thought there was no point in showcasing stuff that everybody has blogged before, since most of what you see in the pic has been around for a long time --except for the hat, which is a new release from amerie's Naughty. Then I said to myself: hell, do it for the record, so next time you need to find something in your inventory, you may have a better idea of what it is and where it could be stored.

That was before I lost sound in my computer. Walking around the SL world and not hearing the electric beeps of the non-existent crickets is like watching a silent movie with a minimum of action and no subtitles. That let me to think of sepia... the color, yes, and that, in turns, on a desire to play some with photo editing filters. So I took a few shots, uploaded them in my graphics editor, and began to crop. Chop, chop, chop, chop... until I came up with the profile picture I'm using in Plurk, and from there to the picture above. Not the greatest picture of all, but I do like it very much.

Because the mood is a little bit dark in the first photo, the fashion elements don't stand out clearly. So what? I like the photo anyway. Yet, I took this second shot, so you may have a better look at the hat and these Holster bags from SiniStyle. If you get these, click on the feathers and see what happens. Inventory revisited

Last night I tried (yes I tried) to clean my inventory. I started to delete whatever I haven't used in more than 12 months or have no plan to use anymore, and to box whatever survived the quality control inspection into prims for easy storage. As it seems, thousands of items disappeared from my folders, mainly freebies I've pick up here and there and never even took a few minutes to see what their were. The experiment also let me rediscover long forgotten apparel that still look good after all this time. For instance, this black overall from GothiCatz, that dates back to 2007. It may not be so fashionable today, but I decided to save it from burning at the virtual stake.
